You are very welcome to the website of St. Joseph’s National School, Boyerstown. Our school is located in the peaceful rural area of Boyerstown, just 5km outside Navan, Co. Meath.
St. Joseph’s N.S. is a friendly, caring and inclusive school community where we take great pride in our pupils and in the commitment and dedication of our staff. We strive to create a positive learning environment where every child feels safe, supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
At St. Joseph’s N.S., each child is valued, respected and celebrated for who they are. We aim to nurture the academic, social, physical and spiritual development of all our pupils, while fostering confidence, resilience and a love of learning. Children are encouraged to take pride in their work, to do their best and to recognise and celebrate their own achievements and those of others.
Kindness and respect underpin everything we do in our school community. Bí Cineálta – Be Kind is a message that guides our daily interactions and school life.
We greatly value the support and involvement of our parents/guardians and the wider community, and we believe that strong partnerships between home and school are key to helping our pupils flourish:
“It takes a village to raise a child.”
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We hope it gives you a glimpse into the life and spirit of our wonderful school.

Our dance lessons with Áine Farrelly from @elitestageschool are always a highlight of the week.
The children have such great fun in every session. From warm ups to learning new routines, there is constant movement, laughter and energy in the hall. It is wonderful to see their confidence grow as they perform for one another and encourage their classmates.
Dance is a brilliant way to support both fitness and wellbeing. The children are developing coordination, rhythm and teamwork skills, all while having the best time.
A big thank you to Áine and @elitestageschool for bringing such enthusiasm and positivity to our school.
