Congratulations to the 16 pupils in 6th class who received the Sacrament of Confirmation in Bohermeen Church yesterday with Bishop Thomas Deenihan and Fr. Declan Hurley.  Thank you to    Mr Keegan and the NET Team for their work in preparing pupils for Confirmation.  The pupils confirmed are Tom Brennan, Hannah Carr, Michael Carr, Libby Clynch, Oisín Dunne Christie, Clodagh Fitzsimons, Ella Keating, Alfie Kellett, Diarmuid Ó Bric, Ruby O’Brien, Niamh Rattigan, Aoibhinn Ratty, Rebecca Reilly, Sophia Reilly, Chloe Rogers and Kyle Smith.  

Many thanks to all of the grandparents who helped us celebrate Grandparents Mass last Friday in Boyerstown Church as part of Catholic Schools Week.  There was a wonderful turnout of grandparents for the occasion.  Thanks to Fr. Doyle for celebrating the Mass and to the Parents Council for organising the teas and coffees and the fifth and sixth class pupils who helped to serve the Grandparents in Boyerstown Community Centre afterwards.  Thanks also to the many grandparents who visited the classes in Boyerstown last week to share their life stories and wisdom.  

Congratulations to the forty six strong Peace Proms choir from Boyerstown 4th, 5th and 6th classes who gave an outstanding performance in the RDS Simmonscourt Arena on Saturday night.  The energy and atmosphere was something to behold.  Many thanks to Miss O’Brien, Miss Dalton, Mr. Keegan and Majella for accompanying the choir to and from Dublin on Saturday and preparing them for an occasion they will never forget.  Thanks also to the families of the pupils who came to support in such strong numbers.  All the Boyerstown pupils were such a real credit to their school and their families.  The pupils involved were: Alvin Barry, Sean Bartley, Jessica Becton, Aran Bray, Tom Brennan, Hannah Carr, Michael Carr, Nathan Casserly, Libby Clynch, Cormac Conaty, Peter Curtis, Eoghan Darcy, Isabella Duignan, Oisín Dunne Christie, Clodgah Fitzsimons, Emma Fitzsimons, Bella Garvey, Rosa Garvey,Mia Haber-Mallon, Owen Hill-Ahern, Ciara Hughes, Ella Keating, Alfie Kellett, Diarmaid Keyes, Shelby Anne Lawless, Eoghan Maher, Padhraic Maher, Matthew Martin, Hannah McKeever, Alisha Mills, Aymie Molloy, Donnacha        Ó Bric, Katie-Jane O’Brien, Ruby O’Brien, Polly Powderly, Aoibhinn Ratty, Alesha Reilly, Rebecca Reilly, Sophia Reilly, Chloe Rogers, Max Rogers, Daniel Smyth, Jake Smyth, Lucy Smyth, Andrew Treacy and Sam Wall.
