The Girls Gaelic Football team made it three wins from three with a fine victory over Kilbride N.S. last week. This week the 3rd to 6th class girls train on Wednesday in Boyerstown from 3pm to 4pm and play Moynalty N.S. in Boyerstown on Thursday at 1.30pm.

The Boys Gaelic Football Team will train on Tuesday in Boyerstown from 3pm to 4pm and will hope to continue to build on the good form in games against Baconstown and Dunderry when they take on Moynalvey N.S. this Friday in Moynalvey  at 1.15pm. Any parents who can drive to Moynalvey, we will leave Boyerstown at 12.20pm and arrive back in Boyerstown at 3pm.

The Celtic Travelling Bookfair visits Boyerstown School this week. The children in all classes will get to view the books on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. Parents/Guardians and pupils themselves will be able to purchase books on Thursday and Friday mornings in the Boyerstown Community Centre from 8.55am to 9.15am and also in Miss Quinn’s classroom from 2.05pm to 2.25pm and from 3.05pm to 3.30pm  Thursday and Friday this week. We encourage all pupils and parents to come along and view the books on offer and hopefully you will see something that your child will enjoy reading. The benefit for the school is that each class will get to add books to their class libraries depending on the number of books sold in the Bookfair this week. If the book your child wants is not on the bookshelves  when you come to purchase on Thursday and Friday, most books can be ordered from Celtic Books by the school and will be delivered to the pupils next week. Enjoy the week and happy reading to all.
